Da’Naia Jackson, the former wife of internet relationship coach Derrick Jaxn, has broken her silence about her past marriage in a recent episode of the Dear Future Wifey Podcast. During the interview with host Laterras R. Whitfield, Jackson shared intimate details about her attempts to save her marriage. A clip from the podcast went viral on social media, in which she disclosed a particularly low point in her relationship when she felt more familiar with the bodies of other women than her own due to her husband’s infidelity.

Taken back by the bold comment, Whitfield paused to reflect on how serious that comment was. “I spent a lot of time, I went into a deep hole as I was like studying these women,” Jackson said in the clip. “I would go to their profiles, and I would study their pages and what they’d wear.”

She continued the conversation admitting that she would even watch sex tapes of these women and her husband and try to emulate them as well. “I would try to imitate that and recreate it in our relationships so that he could choose me and want me,” Jackson admitted. “And that is a low point to be in.”

Following an unusual video, Derrick Jaxn, an internet relationship coach, admitted to being a serial cheater after several women publicly accused him, making headlines. Subsequently, pictures of him with another woman in Miami surfaced, and he disclosed that he and Da’Naia Jackson had been separated for almost a year. Derrick Jaxn filed for divorce in December 2022.

Recently, in an emotional clip, Jackson expressed regret over her past actions, feeling that they had not amounted to anything. Her vulnerability and courage in speaking out have received praise from several women and fans of the show. One commentator acknowledged that Jackson’s situation is relatable to many wives, while another believed that her openness would assist others who are silently struggling with comparable circumstances.
