The former couple’s marriage has been declared legally dissolved as Erica Mena and Safaree have finalized their divorce.
The divorce was approved by the judge on September 12, according to court records, according to reports from TMZ, after the couple reached an arbitration settlement. Safaree will pay $4,305 in child support each month as one of the conditions the former couple agreed upon.
In May 2021, Erica Mena filed for divorce. Since then, the couple has been living apart and sharing joint custody of their two young children. The couple sold their $1.3 million Georgia mansion in June, and now that their marriage is no longer valid, the documents state that Erica will resume using her maiden name, Mena.
When Erica Mena accused her husband of infidelity while she was expecting their second child, the Love & Hip Hop stars had been married for just under two years. She allegedly destroyed his belongings and ended the marriage permanently after finding out about his infidelity.
Fans of either party can certainly agree that the couple’s marriage split could be for the best now that things are officially and legally ended for them. It’s time to put the unpleasantness in the past and continue co-parenting.
