Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, has become the latest CARICOM leader to test positive for COVID-19.
According to press secretary Roy Morris, Mia Mottley has a minor case and is doing well.
“The doctors have advised that she will remain at home until they determine otherwise.”
Mottley, who has been fully vaccinated, hosted a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) last week.
In the meantime, Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw will perform the duties of Prime Minister in her place.
