Over the weekend, Chris Rock made a post which made fun of Whitney Houston’s drug use and clearly Bobby Brown didn’t find it amusing one bit.
The meme shared by the comedian showed the late diva looking unenthused about a certain interview. Reports say the image had with it a caption which reads “me sitting in a meeting that could have been an email.” Probably to make it funnier, Rock added his own caption “hurry up I got crack to smoke.”
The post attracted a backlash from angry commenters who labeled it as “trash, not funny, and tasteless.” Brown said in his comment, “during this time of women empowerment you chose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN.”
Angry Bobby Brown didn’t stop there, he went on to add that he thought the comedian was a friend of the family. Not long after this Chris Rock took down the post.
Brown and Houston got married in 1992, a marriage that lasted till 2007. The marriage was blessed with a child, Bobbi Kristina, who passed on in 2015. Three years before her demise, her mother had died from cocaine intoxication. Kristina is reported to have died in a similar manner.
