Buju Banton, who just returned from serving prison time, is set to return to the stage next month. The reggae artist is billed to perform in Kingston, Jamaica on March 16. As soon as sales began in January there was a mad rush by his fans to purchase the tickets from his website and caribtix.com. Earlier in February, the sales switched up a notch as tickets were now sold at selected Digicel stores.

The organizers of the Long Walk to Freedom tour, Gargamel Music and Boom Energy drink, have said that the tickets for the show in Jamaica are almost sold out. It’s just about a month to go and already the VIP tickets are completely finished.

The general ticket is priced at $12,500 and there are only 70 tickets available for the general field. Buju Banton is expected to perform in several other parts of the Caribbean before the end of the year. The dates for his performances in the Caribbean and Europe are out already, check them below.
