Africa is the second largest continent in the world! There are so many countries in the African continent and a lot of people still do not know this. Most of these countries are the island nations and beautiful destinations many would love to visit. Island views, not populated, organized economy, friendly locals, and so many other features could be used to define these countries.

MAURITIUS

The Island of MAURITIUS is located in Africa. Republic of Mauritius, is an island nation  Located just at the southeast coast of Africa, some 900km east of Madagascar, and surrounded by the warm Indian Ocean. The island is 2040km2 in size. The capital and largest city, Port Louis, is located on Mauritius, where most of the population is concentrated.

Republic of Mauritius is an island Nation and one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. It is a new country to a lot of people and many still do not know this Island is in the Map of the world.

REUNION ISLAND

Réunion Island, a French department in the Indian Ocean, is known for its volcanic, rainforested interior, coral reefs and beaches. Reunion Island is in AFRICA. Its most exotic landmark,  is the “Piton de la Fournaise,” a climbable active volcano standing 8,635 ft, Piton des Neiges, a massive extinct volcano, and Réunion’s 3 calderas (natural amphitheaters formed by collapsed volcanoes), are also climbing destinations.

COMOROS

The history of the Comoros extends to about 1000 BC when the archipelago was first inhabited. The Comoros have been inhabited by various groups throughout this time. France colonised the islands in the 19th century, and they became independent in 1975. Comoros is located in the East AFRICA. Some of the major natural resources of Comoros are arable land, water, forests, beautiful landscapes, and biodiversity. Former French colony, Comoros is perfect for tourism.

MAYOTTE

Mayotte is a French Overseas Department located in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique. Mayotte’s area is 374 square kilometres.

Mayotte is an island of 250,000 people that is part of the Comoros archipelago off the coast of Africa. The Comoros was a French colony until 1975 when it declared independence.

Săo Tomé and Príncipe

Săo Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in the Central Africa. It consists of two archipelagos around the two main islands of São Tomé and Príncipe, about 140 km apart and about 250 and 225 km off the northwestern coast of Gabon.

In Sao Tome and Principe the spoken language is Portuguese, Sãotomense, Principense and the written language is Portuguese. The capital of Sao Tome and Principe is Sao Tome.

It was discovered by the Portuguese in the late 15th century, Sao Tome and Principe is a tiny archipelago situated in the Gulf of Guinea.
