The Black-ish star just put pen to paper on a first-look deal with Universal and she is the youngest ever person to do so. This deal will put her in position to work on scripted projects along with Universal co-founder (Joshua Martin), Vice President (Carol Martin), and Universal Head of Creative (Prince Baggett). The announcement was made by Universal Pictures President, Peter Cramer, who said Martin is definitely very brilliant and talented. Furthermore, he said that one of the cornerstone principles of Universal Pictures is working with emerging talent.

Everything is falling in place for the 14-year-old actress. Already she is the youngest executive producer in Hollywood and now she is the youngest to sign a first-look deal with Universal Pictures. The question is, “what next for Marsai Martin?”
