There have been speculations that Black Panther stars, Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia) and Michael B. Jordan (Killmonger) are in a romantic relationship. The two have however come out to squash anything left of the rumors, saying they are just good friends.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jordan said he and Lupita have been friends for a while and they both respect each other a lot. Lupita, on the other hand, said their friendship helps them to work well on set, even though the rumors of them being in a romantic relationship are quite flattering.
You will remember the elevator scene at the last Golden Globes where both individuals were seen making out in the elevator and Danai Gurira stepped in to whisk off Lupita. That scene shot all speculations to the climax. When asked about it, Lupita laughed it off saying it was just an act. For she and Danai falling at the end of the scene, she said they were both in stilettos so it was expected.
This is not the first time Lupita has been grilled about her personal life. She has however refused to drop any hints about her relationship.
