Jada Pinkett-Smith, her daughter Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris are featured by ESSENCE in its new “Innovation Issue” for March. The trio has recently carved a niche for themselves with “Red Table Talk,” their new Facebook Watch Series.
The Innovation Issue is completely dedicated to encouraging women who have put in efforts to crash digital divides and shatter glass ceilings. The cover story is titled “Talk is Chic” and it has the women from three generations share their views about the show, family life, love, and rebranding themselves.
Jada talked about the diversity brought to the table on the show. According to her, every individual has a part to play. Her mother, Adrienne, shared about how the show has given her the opportunity to look at herself. She said she never expected the response the show has enjoyed since it began. Willow went ahead to talk about how the show had given her a sense of direction. Giving her thoughts about what she plans to achieve and who she wants to be.
The multigenerational trio looked fab in the different designers they were adorned with by the stylist, Sammy K. they were clothed by Roland Mouret, Maria Lucia Hohan, Oscar de la Renta, and Alexander Vauthier. Photography was done by Saint. The issue is billed to hit the stands from February 22.
