The summer of 2018 brought with it the announcement of a black-owned telecom company known as Tesix Wireless. The announcement has attracted investors and customers such that the company is already valued at $5.9 million. The acquired value resulting from acquisition offers and investments from her investors.
Tesix Wireless is set to launch this January and already has early subscribers numbering over 3,000. Furthermore, the company has already gathered orders for the new Sim kits from customers planning to migrate from other providers.
In recounting her experiences she said a lot drove her decision as consumers suffer from issues like unpredictability, unnecessary fees, ever-changing rates, among others. It is great news that the company prior to starting up is already valued at close to $6 million but we all know the market is highly competitive. Despite this the founder seems unfazed, she believes Tesix has a competitive advantage in fee-less monthly bills and cheaper rates.
