It is no news that female rap star of the moment, Cardi B, never hides her emotions, whether good or bad. The rapper recently took a dig at the US President, Donald Trump, for a prolonged shut down of the government, referring to it as the longest in recent history.
She went ahead to criticize Trump’s order which instructed federal workers to return to work without receiving their pay. She dispelled any grounds of comparison between Trump’s shutdown and the one experienced during the administration of Donald Trump. According to her, during Obama’s regime, the shutdown was for 17 days and it was basically for health care purposes.
She lamented about the US being a hell hole because of Trump’s policies and ended her complaint video with a call to action. She said she had no idea what should be done but she knew a step had to be taken in the right direction.
