Comedy giant, Dave Chappelle opened up about the last time he saw his friend and fellow comedian Norm Macdonald, who died of cancer last year at the age of 61, and the photo that resulted from their meeting.
It was shot at the Comedy Store in Hollywood during their last meeting.
“Macdonald was uncharacteristically emotional,” Dave Chappelle stated during the interview that’s featured in Macdonald’s posthumous Netflix special, “Norm Macdonald: Nothing Special.”
Chappelle said he added a photo from that meeting in his own special, “The Closer,” which was released last year and dedicated to Macdonald.
Chappelle didn’t discover it at the time, but Macdonald was saying “a very fitting goodbye” to him.
