Former Miss Haiti Hermanie Pierre who achieved her dream of receiving a PhD degree in Civil Engineering!!!.
What made it more memorable was that her father, Reginald also got his PhD degree the same day. The Haitian father and daughter duo graduated with Doctorates in Philosophy from Trinity University.
The excited former Miss Haiti, made several posts on her Instagram, celebrating the accomplishment. One of the posts reads;
Wow! Guys I can’t express how grateful, happy and excited I am to receive my doctorate with my father. You don’t see this image on the media. I am here to encourage all us to help our parents achieve their dreams when we make it as well. Today I received my doctorate & my diploma. Dad received his doctorate.
