Former heavyweight boxer, George Foreman, has been hit with terrible news. His daughter, Freeda, was found dead on Saturday. Freeda, who was aged 42, also used to be a boxer.

Foreman’s body was discovered by a family member in her Atascocita home in Texas. The coroner is still yet to release a formal report on her death but it is almost certain that no foul play is involved. Freeda began her professional career in the middleweight category in 2000. She won her first five fights before losing her sixth in the next year.

She retired after her loss, going on to focus on her personal life and business. What most people don’t know is that both her parents never approved of her involvement with boxing. Rumor has it that her father even paid her to quit the sport.

Freeda is one of George’s five daughters. He also has five sons, all of whom are named George. By the way, Freeda also bears George as her middle name. Freeda is survived by a husband, 2 children, 3 grandchildren, 9 siblings, and both her parents.

She died at the age of 42.
