Change and growth are some of the inevitable occurrences in life. Every child looks forward to when he or she becomes an adult and several phenomena mark this growth and change. In the movie industry, the sign of maturity from childhood to adulthood is being nominated in an adult category. Marcus Scribner just got the nod.

It is safe to say the 19-year-old Black-ish star has just crossed into the senior league of actors. He began filming the series when he was only 14 and two years later he was receiving the Image Award. Scribner plays the role of Andre Johnson Jr. in the comedy series and he is more than hyped about this year’s award ceremony. It is easy to know why. He has been nominated in the best supporting actor category, his first adult nomination.
