We told you last week about Beyonce’s documentary on Netflix, “Homecoming” which became an instant hit with the fans. The legendary diva paid homage to Black womanhood and HBCU culture in about the most endearing way we have experienced in recent times.
Forever FLOTUS, Michelle Obama, reached out to the diva to congratulate her for the hard work on the documentary which struck deep chords in the hearts of black people around the world. Michelle is currently on her book tour in Europe.

She told Queen B that she was proud of her achievements as she has constantly raised the bar with her works. Blackamericaweb reports that she said, “I’d say I’m surprised, but I know who you are. I’ve seen it up close and personal. Girl, you make me so proud, and I love you. I also love that your new film, Homecoming, is informed by the Black leaders, thinkers, and poets, who’ve paved the way for folks like us. I love that it’s both a celebration and a call to action. And I love that you’re using this film to inspire the next generation of history makers and record breakers who’ll run the world in the years ahead. So to you my dear friend, I just want to say: keep telling the truth. Because you can do it in a way no else can.”
It is evident that both women are fans of each other as Beyonce wrote Michelle Obama’s profile for the latest issue of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
Homecoming covers Beyonce’s performance at Coachella in 2018 as well as some deep truths about the singer’s personal life, career, motherhood, and marriage.
