Legendary hip-hop rapper Nasir “Nas” Jones has made known he is releasing a new book “I Know I can”. Sequel to his singles hit in 2002 album God’s Son, he looks set to encourage children all over again. The book will be part of a series that empowers children to be whatever they want to be when they grow up.
The announcement was revealed in a post on Instagram. “My first kids book is on the way”, he wrote. He also revealed that he and Mass Appeal have launched a kids brand called MAJR.
MAJR (Mass Appeal Junior) set out to inspire future generations through the creation of unique toys, apparel, and innovative learning tools. Major here is here to reflect the diverse hues of both the modern family and popular culture, because education starts in the crib.
The Instagram post revealed the potential cover of the book. He revealed in a statement that he has always known the limitless power of young people and being a father makes it more pertinent. “We’re introducing MAJR to prepare youths of today for tomorrow’s world. Our goal is to help children of all backgrounds fully realize their potential by tapping into their creativity in new and innovative ways.”
While the book’s release date is still unknown, Nas has been on tour with Mary J. Blige since July 11. The duo’s summer tour of North America will run till October 10, 2019.
