Recently, Empire star, Jussi Smollett, was in the news after he was attacked in the wee hours of the day by two men. The Police had promised to dig into the matter and it seems their investigations are yielding results. Two men, believed to be the perpetrators of the act, have been arrested for battery.
The two men, who are brothers from Nigeria, are Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo. The Chicago PD has labeled them prime suspects in the case rather than just persons of interest.
The residence of both men was raided by Police Officers on Thursday and substantial potential evidence retrieved. This includes a couple of bottles of bleach, which were part of the liquids sprayed on Smollett.
According to the Chicago PD, the next line of action in the case will be for Smollett to try identifying the culprits. We await the result of the investigation and we hope the criminals are brought to justice.
