Emani Ashgedom arrives with her grandfather Dawit Ashgedom for NUEW( National Union of Eritrean Women )community Event in L.A.
The well cultured, sweet and polite beautiful daughter of the late rapper, Ermias Asghedom aka Nipsy Hussle, is growing up to be an amazing woman as she is groomed to appreciate her roots, she proved to be all for the culture as she dedicates some time to get involved in the Eritrean community.
The National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) was established in 1979 as one of the mass organizations of the Eritrean People’s Liberation Front. In its current form, the NUEW is an autonomous non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the status of Eritrean women. NUEW has helped to improve the capacity and competence of Eritrean women and girls since its inception during the struggle for independence, and it has encouraged women to take part in nation-building since independence. This year the organization is celebrating its 40th anniversary of establishment all over the world. The Eritrean community in Los Angeles and surrounding held a celebration on November 2nd under the theme Struggle until total victory! The night was filled with speeches, poems, cultural and musical shows. Everyone was dressed in traditional attire.
Mr. Dawit Asgedom the father of the late Ermias Asgedom aka Nipsey Hussle showed up with his grand-daughter Emani both dressed in traditional attire to celebrate with their community, they took pictures and socialize and everyone was delighted to see them in good spirit.
