The Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant was recently held and South Africa’s representative, Tamaryn Green, was first runner up. The news has delighted South Africans all over the world and most of them have taken to social media to celebrate their own.

The 24-year-old South African couldn’t hold back her excitement at being celebrated by her kinsmen especially while on the Miss Universe stage. She said she couldn’t be more proud to be South African and their love and support helped her pull through the pageant.


She shared her message via her twitter account as she went on to wish the new Miss Universe, Catriona Gray from Philippines a blessed reign.
