Last Saturday, Barbra Streisand came out to apologize for her remarks regarding the two men who accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse while they were still children. She regretted her choice of words and said she should have made a better choice when speaking about the issue. Streisand is quoted as saying she has a lot of respect and admiration for the two men who spoke the truth.

If you remember clearly, the star singer and stage diva had received loads of criticism for her comments which were published in the Times of London. In her previous comments, she had said both men had enjoyed the experience which didn’t kill them. This didn’t go down well with so many people, especially on social media.

She made efforts to clarify her comments in a statement to The Associated Press on Saturday. The superstar also employed social media to take her apology further. According to her, she in no way took for granted or downplayed the trauma experienced by Safechuck and Robson. She said she could only imagine how they felt and they had to live with that trauma for the rest of their lives. Streisand also expressed her sympathy for the men who claimed to have been molested by Michael Jackson through her apology.

The late singer’s estate has, however, come out to condemn the documentary aired by HBO, “leaving Neverland.” They have also denied all the claims and even sued HBO for a whopping $100 million. it is on record that Jackson was charged to court in 2005 for molesting a 13-year-old sexually, charges of which he was found not-guilty.

HBO’s documentary, “Leaving Neverland” which brings to view accounts of two men, Safechuck and Robson, who claimed to have been molested sexually by Michael Jackson when they were children. The documentary has stirred millions of comments on social media all around the world.
