The 2018 MTV EMAs which is also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards held on November 4. The awards ceremony was held at the beautiful Bizkaia Arena in Barakaldo, Basque Country, Spain. This year’s host was Hailee Steinfeld and incidentally it was the third time Spain was playing host to the awards.
There were different breath-taking performances by the likes of Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Marshmello, Halsey, Jason Derulo and many others. Several artistes won awards in different categories. The biggest winner of the evening was Camila Cabello, who also had the highest number of nominations. In this article we shall be outlining the Top Black Winners, just in case you missed the show.

BEST HIP HOP – Nicki Minaj
BEST AFRICAN ACT – Tiwa Savage (Nigeria)
