Sheebah Karungi a famous Ugandan recording artist, dancer, and actress, who started her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira is set to storm London and entertain fans. The Team No Sleep singer has announced that she is set to perform alongside Geosteady and Mariachi at a show that will take place on November 10 at Royal Regency Hall.
Meanwhile preparations for Sheebah’s 2018 concert “Omwooyo” are in high gear. On Wednesday, Sheebah Karungi held a press conference in which she promised to deliver an outstanding performance at the concert that is scheduled to take place on November 30, at Hotel Africana.
During her media tour campaign, Sheebah Karungi visited Dembe FM, Uganda to talk about her upcoming “Omwooyo concert” and while there she was asked a number of questions by the “Talk n Talk” show presenters.
Eddy Sendi, a presenter at this show asked Sheebah Karungi about one artist in Uganda she wishes to work with surprisingly, Sheebah replied back without hesitation that it would be an honor to work with;
“Winnie Nwagi… She is that female artiste i’d love to work with in Uganda because of her energy, her drive and power and as a female activist i support confident women”, Sheebah said.
This surprised the Talk n Talk show presenters hence forcing Sendi to ask Sheebah about the male artiste she would like to work with even as a female activist and she replied as below;
“Sincerely speaking, I’ve worked with so many male musicians in my life, now men bore me and am looking for something different that’s why I want to work with females,” Sheebah concluded.
