A 7-year-old rapper has been threatened by a Ugandan Minister to return to school or risk being jailed. Apparently, the young rapper by name Fresh Kid is causing a lot of trouble for the Ugandan government.

The threats were issued by the Youth Minister, Florence Nakiwala. Her stand is that the government of the country does not permit people below the age of 18 to work. According to her, if he doesn’t start attending classes he will be sentenced to Juvenile Prison.

Fresh Kid, originally christened Patrick Ssenyonjo, has responded in a track which he titled “Banteka.” He emphasized that he is being underrated because of his age but he is not bothered the gossips flying around.

The Ugandan government is likely to have recognized Fresh Kid as a potent voice to reach the people of the country and they feel the need to clip his wings at an early age. You will recall that Bobbi Wine also faced a brutal experience on account of the Ugandan government.
