It’s been a little over a year since Usher Raymond, 40, and Grace Miguel, 49, were separated informally. Last Friday however, Usher officially filed for a divorce at a Georgia Court. According to reports, he employed the same lawyer he used in handling the custody case with his ex-wife Tameka Forster.
Though the filing was done last Friday, official court documents have it stated that they were separated on December 24, 2017. The documents also state that a confidential settlement agreement has been reached. As it is, all that is left is the judge’s signature.
An official statement by the couple has told us that they will still maintain their friendship and mutual respect for each other. They will also support each other’s dreams and continue to love each other. The only difference being that they are separated as a couple.
The couple met in the music industry and Miguel has acted as Usher’s manager at some point. They were married for three years without kids.
