Kanye West’s Donda Academy is reportedly being sued for “unlawful education practices.” Two Black women are suing Ye and his private Christian school, according to  TMZ.

The women claim they were fired as teachers from the school for a variety of reasons. This allegedly includes retaliation for reporting alleged violations of education, health, and safety codes. The women also believe they were fired unfairly due to their race.

They were hired full-time at Donda Academy earlier this year, according to the women. They claim that they were the only Black teachers at the school.

The women allegedly witnessed numerous violations during their time at the academy. One cited violation was that students’ only lunch option was sushi — every day. Furthermore, students are not permitted to bring outside food or drink into the school.

According to the lawsuit obtained by the outlet, Kanye spends $10,000 per week on sushi.

Kanye does not allow crossword puzzles or coloring sheets at school, and classes cannot be held on the second floor because Kanye is “afraid of stairs,” according to the teachers.

Ye also prohibits students from using forks or utensils.According to the lawsuit, Kanye does not allow any artwork on the school’s walls, and no one is allowed to wear jewelry because he “did not like jewelry.”

Teachers even accuse Kanye of not allowing chairs, forcing students to sit on foam cushions or stand. Meanwhile, teachers may stand or use a stool.

According to the suit, everyone at the academy is required to wear all-black clothing from head to toe. Furthermore, Adidas and Nike clothing were prohibited.

It also claims there is no janitor or nurse at the school, and there are no trashcans outside classrooms or the kitchen. According to the two teachers, student medications were stored in a closet, while other expired medications were left unattended.

The teachers also claim that there are no lesson plans or disciplinary procedures in place, which leads to students going unpunished for bullying and assaults on teachers and other students. The teachers, who were not named, claim they were threatened not to speak to Kanye about the issues after bringing them to the attention of others. The women were eventually fired, and they are now blaming their dismissal on racial discrimination and retaliation on those grounds.

They women are also also suing Kanye and Donda Academy for money, claiming their paychecks were often $2,700 short each pay period. Kanye’s camp is however yet to respond.
