A while back, we brought you a story about how a couple of African-American Hollywood actors spent their Christmas holidays at the Full Circle Festival in Ghana. We are sure anytime they remember their African experience their faces will be filled with smiles.

Among the notable events they wouldn’t forget in a hurry was the coronation of Michael Jai White, Afro-American actor and martial artist as a chief. He was installed as a chief in the Akwamu Traditional Area, Ghana. The title bestowed on him was Nana Akoto III, Odopon. Translating this to English it means, a tree with strong roots that fears no storm.

As expected, White couldn’t hold back his excitement at the new title and he shared the experience on social media. Among the familiar faces at the event are Bozoma Saint John and Boris Kodjoe.
