ANJEL Tech, a Black-owned cloud-based app that turns any smartphone into a personal body cam, has announced a historic collaboration with 1 Million Madly Motivated Moms (1M4). This organization was founded by African American mothers and aunties to combat police brutality through legal action and legislative policy education.
The collaboration improves moms’ well-being and peace of mind by supplying a digital lifeline and connection to their family members via ANJEL Tech technology. This collaboration also makes use of 1M4’s expertise to work on these issues from a policy standpoint.
The number of fatalities caused by the police has steadily increased over the last decade, amounting to an average of three people per day. ANJEL Tech was founded by James A. Samuel Jr., a fighter pilot turned tech innovator who was devastated by the numerous incidents that could have been solved with his technology.
The discrete app allows the user’s loved ones to live stream the incident and receive real-time location updates, all while keeping the video protected and available for future use.
