AT&T has launched a new campaign, the Dream in Black campaign, as part of its plans to celebrate Black History Month. The Dream in Black campaign is expected to run all through the year. It is a means of celebrating both black culture and those who have been at the forefront of influencing it.
Part of the campaign includes setting up the premier Dream in Black 28 list. This list will share the first set of Dream in Black Future Makers. It is made up of 27 individuals who are not wary to Dream in Black.
To create this list, they have entered into a partnership with Queen Latifah. The first seven individuals on the list have been revealed. AT&T is expected to reveal 7 more each Friday for the rest of the month of February. 27 names will be revealed by AT&T and the last person will be chosen by the public. The nomination will be done via social media and the window for that is open till the end of the month.
All you need to do is put up your nomination with the hashtag #DreamInBlack. AT&T is also expected to launch a new set of emojis to feature symbols, gestures, and expressions relatable to the subject.
