To be the best knowledge of most people, the only race that can have blonde hair or be classified as blondes, are Caucasians. And that is because most of the world, even history, has been white washed. However, a people that have confirmed that all human races came from Africa, have proven that an even more breathtakingly beautiful blonde people are Black. They are called the Melanesians of Australia.

The name, Melanesia could be gotten from melanin, the pigment in all black people. The Melanesians possess the darkest skin outside of Africa, and between 5 and 10 percent have bright blonde hair.
Melanesians are the predominant and indigenous inhabitants of Melanesia, in a wide area from New Guinea to as far east as the islands of Vanuatu and Fiji. Most speak either one of the many languages of the Austronesian language family, especially ones in the Oceanic branch, or from one of the many unrelated families of Papuan languages. Other languages are the several creoles of the region, such as Tok Pisin, Hiri Motu, Solomon Islands Pijin, Bislama, and Papuan Malay.
The present evidence from scientists suggest that the cultural, linguistic, and political fragmentation of Melanesians that prevailed at the time of European arrival, with a half-dozen languages and cultures often represented on a single island, was partly a product of transformation that had occurred during the previous 2,000 years.
There have been several theories on how these people got their blonde hair. Some suggest it’s from the sun and salt whitening, high fish intake, or genetic heritage from mixed-breeding with Americans/Europeans that founded the islands.
From comparing 43 blonde Islanders and 42 brown Islanders, a Nova Scotian Geneticist discovered that the blondes carried two copies of a mutant gene that is present in 26 percent of the island’s population. The Melanesian people have a native TYRP1 gene that is partly responsible for the blonde hair and melanin and is distinct to that of Caucasians.
It’s a recessive gene and is more common in children than in adults, with hair tending to darken as the individual matures. That contributes to the theories that black Africans were the first homo sapiens and all races came out of the black African race.
Out of the research, it was also discovered that while all humans outside of Africa have genes passed down from the Neanderthals, Melanesians are the only known humans with a different prehistoric ancestry.
Accounts state that they emigrated from Africa between 50,000 and 100,000 years ago and dispersed along the southern edge of Asia.
Melanesians are amongst the happiest and friendliest people in the world. Their hair, is also one of most beautiful Afro hair types.
