ALL ABOUT THE AMA AWARDS- Just a few days ago one of the biggest music awards in the world was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. If you missed it there is no need to worry as MBBA has brought you all about the AMA Awards 2018. October 9 saw us witness the 46th American Music Awards (AMA Awards) and from beginning to end it was indeed mind-blowing. The fabulous Taylor Swift opened the awards, her first time in 3 years performing at an awards show, and it was definitely a show-stopping performance. From then one it was a continually increasing high tempo event. Check out her performance to open the night here.
This was also Cardi B’s first awards performance since birthing Kulture and boy did she kill it. Words could hardly describe her performance as she brought “I like it” to life right there on stage. Cardi B is not just famous for her music but her style and you can bet she brought it on the AMA Awards stage.
It looked like everyone was returning to the stage and Tracee Ellis was not left out. She returned to her hosting duties and she sure didn’t disappoint as she took the stage by storm with a well-choreographed dance medley. Songs lined up in the medley include Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow,” “Apeshit” by the Carters, “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, “Respect” by Aretha Franklin, and of course, “This Is America” by Childish Gambino. Checkout a summary of her performance here.
The fashion on the Red carpet was nothing short of breathtaking as music stars and other celebrities came in glam and style. Here are some of the best outfits of the evening.
