Power’ actor, Rotimi has finally popped the question to his Tanzanian singer sweetheart, Vanessa Mdee and the answer is a big YES!
After a more than a year of living together, the star actor recently asked Mdee to be his wife.

Rotimi took to his page and penned down a romantic message announcing their engagement. He wrote:
“She said YES! You are my everything. My angel. In 2015 I prayed that whoever my wife was going to be and wherever she was at the moment I hoped that she was happy, having a good day and receiving GODS abundance.
“Fast forward… YOU… you make me such a better man.. Im in debt to GOD For you. I will pay him back by loving you & giving you eveyrhing that you deserve. Nakupenda”
Rotimi and Vanessa went public with their relationship in 2019.
Power actor Rotimi, spoke about how they first met in an interview with Essence. He initially had another date lined up when ran into Vanessa.
“I actually was there with somebody else, just a weekend friend,” he said. “She ended up getting sick. We were supposed to go to this party and she said, ‘I don’t want to come.’ I said, ‘Okay, it’s fine. I’m just going to go for 15 minutes.’ I end up going and some of my castmates were also there. That’s where I end up meeting (Vanessa). Fifteen minutes turned into an hour and a half conversation. Nothing else mattered in the room.”
Olurotimi Akinosho, known professionally as Rotimi, is a Nigerian-American actor, singer, and model. He is known for his role as Darius Morrison on the Starz series Boss, and starred as Andre Coleman on Power.
