Just in case you were thinking you were going to see Duchess Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, with their newborn after she gives birth, Buckingham Palace has just burst your bubble. The royal couple plan keeping the birth private for a while before they let the public in through their official Instagram account.
The official statement reads, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby. Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
So many American fans of the couple are a bit bummed with the decision of the couple to keep the birth private unlike her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton and the late Princess Diana who posed barely 24 hours after they gave birth in front of St. Mary’s Hospital, London. By the way, it’s just a few days or weeks before Meghan puts to bed.
Last week we told you that close friend to the Duchess, Serena Williams, sent in a supply of Pampers and she almost spilled the beans about the baby’s sex even though Meghan and Harry have said they didn’t want to check the sex of the baby.
