The annual Forbes World’s Billionaires List for 2023 has been published. Rihanna and Jay-Z have maintained their place among the world’s billionaires. However, one former contender, Kayne West, has dropped out following the end of his partnership with Adidas.
Rihanna was ranked 2020 on the Forbes list, which was published on Tuesday, April 4th, with $1.4 billion, down from $1.7 billion the previous year.
After branching out into lingerie and beauty with her brand Fenty, the multi-hyphenate has amassed a massive net worth.
Unfortunately, Kanye did not make the list this year because Adidas dropped him due to his anti-Semitic comments on social media. In 2022, the rapper was ranked 1,513 on Forbes’ rich list and had a multi-year contract with the sports company for his brand Yeezy. His fortune has now fallen below $1 billion.
Jay-Z’s fortune has increased from $1.4 billion to $2.5 billion, putting him at 1217 on the list. Oprah ranks 1217, with her fortune falling from $2.6 billion last year to $2.5 billion this year, tying her with Jay Z.
Tiger Woods and LeBron James are newcomers to the list.
