We know a lot of Wendy Williams’ Show fans will be sad at this news, Wendy is not likely to return as early as we all expected. A while ago we had reported that she had extended her hiatus, which began in December, for health-related reasons. The plan was that a few celebs will be contacted to stand in for a few days before she returns. Right now it seems we might have to wait a bit longer.
First to take up Wendy’s role was Nick Cannon, who hosted the show from February 4 to 6. Jason Biggs, “Orange is the New Black” actor had his turn today, while tomorrow, February 8, sees Keke Palmer play Wendy.
The list is not complete, there’s more. Former “The View” co-host, Sherri Shepherd will host the show from February 11 to 12. Michael Rappaport, the controversial actor, will have a go on February 13. Jerry O’Connell will have a couple of stints at the job from February 14.
Wendy Williams took some time off in December for holiday purposes but hasn’t returned since then as she has had to treat Grave’s disease. Last week she was seen at a CVS somewhere in Florida. Prior to Nick Cannon hosting the show, he said Wendy was doing great and just all our prayers and support. He was full of appreciation to her for being chosen to host the show, a gesture he counts as a great honor.
