Crystal Renay, wife of R&B singer Ne-Yo has ended her relationship with the musician.
On July 30, Crystal Renay, 36, took to Instagram and accused the 42-year-old R&B singer of Infidelity. In a lengthy statement, the mother of three claimed Ne-Yo cheated on her with “numerous” women unprotected during their eight-year-long marriage.
“To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement,” she wrote. “To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist,” she continued. “I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t. I choose me, I choose my happiness and health and my respect I gained 3 beautiful children out of this but nothing else but wasted years and heartache.”
Crystal Renay also asked fans to stop sending her “videos and information” about her celebrity husband’s infidelity.
“What he does is no longer my concern. I am not a victim,” she wrote before adding, “I’m choosing to stand tall with my head held high. If someone can’t love you the way you deserve then it’s up to you to love yourself. With no hate in my heart, I wish him nothing but the best.”
NE-YO responded in a message on Twitter on Sunday, a day after Renay shared her post.
Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay got married in February 2016, but the “So Sick” hitmaker filed for divorce four years later. He withdrew the paperwork in June 2020, noting how he and Renay reconciled over the quarantine period.
In April, the couple renewed their wedding vows in a lavish red-themed wedding on the rooftop of Las Vegas’ new Resorts World complex. In their wedding recap video, Ne-Yo stated that he was “honored and beyond happy” to be in a good place with his wife.
The couple has three children: sons Shaffer Jr., 6, and Roman, 3, and a daughter Isabella, born in June 2021. Ne-Yo has two children from his previous marriage with Monyetta Shaw: Madilyn, 11, and Mason, 10.
