Kanye West has raised eyebrows once again. “White lives matter” is trending after the rapper and fashion mogul wore a t-shirt with the phrase while addressing attendees at his YZY SZN 9 presentation in Paris. The controversial shirt had the Pope’s face on the front.
Kanye made a bold statement before the show started. According to Page Six, he said, “I am Ye, and everyone here knows that I am the leader,” he said at one point, referencing his new legal name. “You can’t manage me.”
However, Ye wasn’t the only one who wore the white lives matter shirt. Candace Owens also shared a few photos of the event with Kanye, also wearing a white lives matter shirt.
Real Housewives Of Potomac star Dr. Wendy Osefo stepped in, writing, “All skin folk ain’t kinfolk!!!” Shortly after, Ye began trending number one on Twitter. Journalist Marc Lamont Hill spoke in a series of tweets, condemning Ye’s actions.
