The cast for Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Films’ upcoming live-action film Fantasy Football, which will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ later this year, has been completed.
And among those joining the brilliant Marsai Martin on the show are Omari Hardwick, Kelly Rowland and Emmy award winner Rome Flynn.
EA Sports and NFL Films have also agreed to contribute expertise on various parts of the film’s production.
In collaboration with The SpringHill Company and Genius Entertainment, the film will begin shooting this month in Atlanta, Georgia.

Others announced as Cast members were Hanani Taylor as Kayla, Abigail Killmeier as Margot, Elijah Robinson as Nate, Tyla Harris as Zoey and Isac Ivan as Oliver.
Fantasy Football features 16-year-old Callie Coleman (Martin), who finds she can use EA SPORTS’ Madden NFL to manipulate her professional football player father, Bobby Coleman’s (Hardwick), on field performance.
Rowland will play Callie’s mother, Keisha Coleman while Anderson Fisher, Bobby’s rookie archrival, will be played by Flynn.
The film was directed by NAACP Image Award winner Anton Cropper (Black-ish) and written by Emmy Award winners Dan Gurewitch and David Young, and is based on an original screenplay by Richard T. Jones, Jeremy Loethen, and Tim Ogletree.
Fantasy Football’ will be produced by the SpringHill Company (Space Jam: A New Legacy).
The film will be produced by the media conglomerate managed by LeBron James and Maverick Carter in collaboration with the talented Marsai Martin and her father Joshua Martin of Genius Entertainment (Little).
James, Spencer Beighley and Jamal Henderson will be producers for the Spring Hill Company.
Executive producers for Genius Entertainment are Carol Martin and Jamila Jordan-Theus.
Syrinthia Studer, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Films, and Jessica Smith, Director of Development, are in charge of the film’s production at Awesomeness.
Timothy Bourne is on board as the producer.
Fantasy Football is the third film under Awesomeness and Nickelodeon Live-Action Film Studio head Studer, following The J Team, executive produced by and starring Jojo Siwa, and the Honor Society, starring Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo.
