Beyoncé has definitely had a fabulous year and earlier this month she was in Africa for the Global Citizen Festival which held in South Africa. She went on to tour other African countries with her husband, Jay-Z, and all through she slew wearing outfits by African designers.
Queen B just released the photos of her African experience and praised all the designers who contributed to making her look so good while on the continent. No sooner had she posted the pics did her Instagram followers swarm her page with questions of who the designers were. We all were kept in the dark initially but now we’ve got details and we’re ready to spill them to you at no cost.
Beyoncé wore outfits by designers from Senegal, South Africa, Congo, Kenya, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso. We know you can’t wait much longer, so here they are.
Peulh Vagabond
Beyoncé wore a pair of matching top and trouser designed by Dyenaa Diaw of flank origin. Diaw is behind fashion line Peulh Vagabond.
Yhebe Design & Afrikanista
Beyoncé slayed the beautiful Ankara assymetric mini-skirt by Yhebe Design with a graphic t-shirt designed by Afrikanista.
Tongoro studio
The singer has always fancied Tongoro designs, little wonder she was spotted in two different designs from Tongoro Studio. One was a FW 18 monochrome power suit from Tongoro which she matched with a purse from Edun which gave it that cultural feel.
Next she was spotted with a crop top and a wide leg pant also from Tongoro. We are beginning to feel Tongoro might become the top designer on our wishlist for the New Year.
Rich Mnisi
Beyoncé adorned herself with a colourful top which is all shades of cool, along with a half-pleat crocodile skirt all designed by Rich Mnisi. She has on several other beautiful accessories to go along.
Mmuso Maxwell & Adama Paris
Mmuso Maxwell adorns Beyoncé with a Spring/Summer 16 set which she matched with a red Boyette bag by Adama Paris.
