More details have arisen about Nipsey Hussle’s shooter, Eric Holder. The 29-year-old allegedly shot the rapper outside his clothing store last Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. A report by TMZ states that Hussle enraged the shooter by talking back at him after the first two shots were fired.
TMZ reports that:
Sources at the scene of Nipsey’s murder tell us … after Eric Holder allegedly shot Nipsey twice and the rapper fell to the ground, Nipsey raised his head and said something to the effect of, “You shot me, you got me, I’m good.”
We’re told Holder — who had already started to walk away — turned around and walked back in Nipsey’s direction when he realized the rapper was still alive. That’s when Holder fired additional shots at Nipsey … those bullets, eyewitnesses believe, that killed him.
The surveillance video showed Hussle raise his head after Holder shot him twice. His assailant shot him again after approaching him then shot again when he backed off. He then ran into the alley after kicking the deceased rapper.
Holder was arrested two days after the shooting and was immediately charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of murder, and one count of possessing a firearm. The shooter pleaded not guilty and his bail bond was set at $5 million. He will appear again in court on May 10, meanwhile, he has been put in solitary to avoid him being g killed by other inmates.
Nipsey Hussle’s funeral holds on Thursday at the Staples Center.
