Birthed same time from same womb as twin sons, but very rare appearance, Daniel and David were born in 2019 to Nigerian parents in lagos Nigeria. Daniel was born with dark skin and dark hair while his brother David has albinism. This creates a stark contrast between the twins, and is a truly eye-catching phenomenon.
Speaking to Bored Panda, their mom Stacy explained; “We did not know about their differences while I was pregnant, the scan did not show such so it was a huge surprise and the most amazing moment when the first twin [Daniel] came out with black hair and the second twin [David] came out with gold hair.

Identical Twin Sons
“I had them through CS, so the doctors were like; ‘It seems you are having totally unidentical twins.’”
David’s albinism is said to affect one in 20,000 people worldwide. The condition can lead to certain health complications, such as issues with vision, but Stacy says David is perfectly healthy.
The twin sons who just turned two earlier this year already have over 20 thousand followers on Instagram. Talking about their Instagram page, Stacy told Bored Panda;“We opened an [Instagram] account for them because we believe they have a story to tell to the world and also as a way of creating awareness.”
“There’re always side talks whenever we go out, people often wanna know how and what’s happening and maybe due to their cute and adorable nature, you just wanna come close to say hello.” She continued.
Nigeria is one of the countries where albinism is among the highest in the world. Over 2 million albinos are estimated to live in the African nation. Stacy also mentioned how, despite albinos being targeted in the country for ‘being different’, both her boys are equally loved and that they have never received any negative comments on David’s appearance.
