Well, everyone is trying to get back to the motherland. After Cardi B’s Visit to Nigeria, Award winning rapper, Lil Wayne has revealed that he wants to visit Nigeria.
In an interview game with American Eagle, Lil wayne was asked “ where is the place that you wanna go, that you haven’t been” and he replied, “I have never been to Nigeria and that’s the place that I’ll love to go and Egypt”. Then, the interviewer asked why nigeria and she thinks Nigeria is lit and Lil Wayne replied in excitement “I heard it too”.
The International hip-hop star, Lil Wayne is the latest foreign celebrity to express an interest to visit Nigeria.
The multiple Grammy award-winning rapper while playing a game of “Never Ever Have I” was asked if he has visited every continent and he replied in the negative
There is an influx of Black people of African Descent in 2019, both celebrities and regular people. Therefore, it is safe to say that, it is time for all Afro people to trace their roots.
Cardi B also recently revealed that she would be filing for Nigerian citizenship. Also, Meek Mill says he wants to move to Africa.
Cardi B’s tweet about possible citizenship in Nigeria also caught the attention of one of Nigeria’s top government officials, Abike Dabiri-Erewa who is the chairman of Nigeria’s Diaspora Commission. Dabiri responded with the tweet:
