Fashion is a major part of our lives for we do not just wear clothes to cover our nakedness, they have become a way to show style, class, and elegance. Spring/Summer is almost here so we decided to bring you the fashion trends for 2019.
Tie-dye
This is one of the major trends for 2018 as it featured on many runways. It has become a trend appreciated by all as against art teachers and older folk in times past. Several brands like Dior and Prada have embraced this trend to come up with so many bespoke designs.
Sunshine Shades
For those who made a major investment in terracotta shades last summer, they are in luck as it is still relevant this spring/summer. One of the best examples of Sunshine Shades, chic style, is Valentino’s seamless mix of orange and wine. Versace also made a statement using a sunburnt orange in designing its impactful satin jacket.
Shorts
People hardly feel brave to wear shorts but what we fail to realize is that shorts can be very classy when worn properly. Two styles have prevailed on catwalks recently, broad shorts and cycling shorts. They could be worn with jackets or worn solo. Chanel and Prada are simply priceless.
New tailoring
It’s obvious that new tailoring is fast becoming a trend especially for the Spring/Summer season coming upon us. The focus is now on sharper silhouettes rather than fluid midi styles. A perfect mix of shirts, trousers, and a belt definitely feels comfier than a suit. Burberry, Balenciaga, and Givenchy are just a few of the designers to adopt this new style of elegant, polished, and confidence-boosting fashion trend.
Utility
This term is expected to be branded a lot in 2019. It is the perfect balance of function with fashion. From combat trousers to denim boiler suits to oversized anoraks, everyone looks forward to killing two birds with one stone. This trend has prevailed on several catwalks featured by Givenchy, Balmain, Fendy, Hermes, and many others.
