If you are a fan of superhero movies or comics then you must have been terribly sad at the news of the passing of Stanley Martin Lieber popularly referred to as the father of superheroes. The world was shocked on Monday after “Stan Lee” was declared dead at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Stan Lee definitely brought a revolution to the comic world birthing some of the most famous Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, and Fantastic Four. Stanley Martin Lieber died at the age of 95.

Stan Lee, as he was fondly called was not just a creator of superheroes, he was a superhero himself to comic lovers all over the globe. Lee got into the business in 1939 and since then has created several comic characters like Black Panther, Ant-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Daredevil, X-Men, and several others. Stan Lee made an indelible mark in the industry, his death was confirmed and announced by Kirk Schenck, his daughter’s attorney.

Since the announcement of his death several celebrities, movie makers, actors, as well as Marvel fans all over the world have expressed their deepest grief all over social media. In paying tribute the chairman and CEO of Disney, Bob Iger said, “Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created, a superhero in his own right to Marvel fans around the world, Stan had the power to inspire, to entertain and to connect. The scale of his imagination was only exceeded by the size of his heart.”
