A Las Vegas police officer, Rachael Sorkow, is facing charges of felony and police misconduct. She has been charged for committing several offenses such as running background checks on potential girlfriends and boyfriends on behalf of her friends. She is also known to have made homophobic and racist jokes as well as sharing embarrassing videos and pictures of suspects with her friends. Most demeaning of all are videos of a man showing his genitals and one in which she forced a mentally ill man to twerk.
All of the crimes, according to KVVU, can be traced to within the last two years. Asides the above-stated offenses, Sorkow is accused of checking arrest records, addresses, and license plate information of potential partners which she shares with her friends. She has also been caught on camera using the n-word on several occasions.

Seven incriminating videos were found on her phone by the authorities, they are narrated below:
- A video she made in April 2017 shows a mentally ill man she made to do the Superman, Dougie, and twerk. She went ahead to share the video via text message with some of her colleagues and friends calling the man a “shim.”
- The next video shot in November 2017 shows a handcuffed man forced to eat jelly beans by Sorkow. The officer said she was only making a joke, a habit she claims to be very fond of.
- In January 2018 the cop made a video where she asked a woman who called the police for a domestic abuse case for her weight. She on to advice the woman to take part in the TV reality show “My 600-Pound Life.” She also sent this video to at least 8 people.
- The final video showed a black man with a rip in his pants. The cop zoomed in to show the man’s private area and she asked him to kick so his genitals could be more revealed. After arresting the man, she went ahead to call him the n-word severally.
She has been slammed a five-count charge among which are charges for indecent exposure and another for capturing the genitals of a man without his consent. Her lawyers have affirmed that she will be fighting the charges. She made bail after she paid a bail bond of $5,000.
