The TV host, Wendy Williams, who recently returned to her hosting duties has announced the launch of a hotline to provide help for people suffering from drug and substance abuse. She made the announcement on her Monday show saying her Hunter Foundation had struck a partnership with T.R.U.S.T. treatment center.
The 54-year-old said in her announcement that her family was proud to partner with the center to bring help to as many that need it. According to her, no one was above being affected by drug and substance abuse issues. She went on to outline the issues she faced with cocaine in her 20s and 30s.
The 24-hour hotline was targeted at provided help to people suffering from the underlining issues by providing treatment resources. The President of T.R.U.S.T, Ron Clinton, said his center was glad to help out. He said the partnership was needed to reduce the number of lives lost to addiction and abuse yearly.
